Natural Way To Spray For Bugs

There are many natural ways to keep bugs away from you and your home.

Whether you are inside or outside, bugs can be pests, and you want them to be gone as soon as possible. The problem is, most of the sprays you buy in the stores are harsh in smell and in chemicals. DEET, which is the abbreviation for the active ingredient in most insect repellents and many bug sprays, has had many concerns raised about it, such as the fact that it is a carcinogen. DEET can easily be identified by its pungent smell, which is why bugs stay away. Using more natural methods to spray for bugs and rid yourself of them is quick and easy. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Mix mint extract or mint oil with water in a spray bottle. You can spray this around entrances to your home to detract bugs from coming into your home, and you can spray this on yourself to keep bugs away.

2. Mix soap and water in a spray bottle and have it available. Many bugs, such as cockroaches, will die from contact with soapy water. As soon as you see the bugs, spray them with the soapy concoction and most bugs will die.

3. Keep catnip around your house. You can make catnip into a spray by mixing it with water and spray it around the entrance of your home. You can also sprinkle the dried leaves to keep bugs away, and even the plants in general will help keep bugs away if you spread them out around your home.

4. Use citronella extract with water in a spray bottle to create another bug spray that will keep away mosquitoes, flies and gnats. A Thai lemon grass tree is the source of citronella, and bugs do not like it.
