This 50 percent malathion solution is primarily effective against aphids, red spider mites, mealybugs, thrips, scales, and whiteflies. Instructions
Flowers And Bushes
1. Mix 1/2 to 1 1/2 tsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control aphids.
2. Mix 1 tbsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control bagworms, fourlined leaf bugs, rose leafhoppers, Japanese beetle adults, mealybugs, box elder bugs, mites, tarnished plant bugs, thrips, white flies and woolly aphids.
3. Mix 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control scale.
4. Mix 2 tsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control oak kermes.
Fruits
5. Mix 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control aphids.
6. Mix 1 tbsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control fourlined leaf bugs, Japanese beetle adults, red spider mites, tent caterpillars, leafrollers, grape leafhoppers, mealybugs, moths, pear psyllids, plum curculio, tarnished plant bugs, thrips, woolly aphids and white flies.
7. Mix 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control scale crawlers.
8. Consult manufacturers recommendations for pre-harvest and application intervals.
Citrus
9. Mix 2 tsp. of Spectracide Malathion per gallon of water in a tank sprayer to control aphids, scales, thrips and white flies.
10. Mix sufficient volume to apply thoroughly to the branches and both top and bottom of the leaves.

Vegetables
