One 32-oz. spray bottle of Bayer's Weed Killer for Lawns Ready-to-Spray treats 8,000 square feet of grass where broadleaf weeds have established roots. This herbicide kills over 200 invasive plants and it requires no diluting. Screw the bottle to your garden hose and apply the chemical to young, actively developing plants. Use it on a windless day to prevent the toxic mist from landing on other plants. This weed killer becomes rainproof within one hour of application, according to the manufacturer. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Mow and irrigate your lawn one day before treating it with Bayer's Weed Killer for Lawns.
2. Put on long sleeves and pants, socks, shoes, and rubber gloves before handling Bayer's Weed Killer for Lawns.
3. Shake the bottle of herbicide and screw it onto your water hose.
4. Turn the water on and, without spraying, walk the hose to the farthest side of your lawn. This start position lets you walk back as you spray, avoiding stepping on chemically treated areas.
5. Push and hold the lock tab on the spray bottle away from the on-and-off knob. Turn the knob clockwise with your other hand to turn the sprayer on.
6. Walk backwards as you spray your lawn from side to side. Keep the herbicide from falling on sidewalks, driveways and any path that would take the chemical runoff to waterways.
7. Push and hold the lock tab on the spray bottle away from the on-and-off knob. Turn the knob counterclockwise to turn the sprayer off when you finish spraying the lawn.
8. Turn the water off. Turn the sprayer back on over the grass for all the liquid to drain from the hose. Turn the sprayer off and unscrew it from the water hose.
