Screen In An Existing Deck

Instructions


1. Measure the distance between the posts holding up your roof. Add 3 inches to each side of the measurement for your final screen segment width.


2. Cut the screen segments according to your measurement from Step 1 using the shears. Cut the full number of screen pieces--for however many gapes there are--all at once to save time.


3. Attach one side of the screen to one post by sandwiching the screen between the post and an appropriately sized 2-by-4 and screwing down tight. Perform the same operation for the other side of the screen and the roof until all sides of the screen are securely fastened. Perform Steps 1 through 3 until the entire deck is completely screened in.
