Stinger Zapper Lights Don'T Work

The Stinger bug zapper builds upon the effectiveness of traditional bug zappers by adding a powerful attractant, NOsquito Octenol, to lure mosquitoes and other flying insects. A light installed in the Stinger also lures insects that are subsequently killed as they contact an electrically charged metal grid. Changing the lightbulb in a Stinger bug zapper can be done by most homeowners. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Unplug the Stinger bug zapper from the extension cord or power outlet. Take the Stinger down from the hook or mounting point to make lightbulb replacement easier to perform.

2. Turn over the Stinger so the bottom of the bug zapper is accessible.

3. Open the plastic lightbulb cap on the bottom of the Stinger. Push the tab on the side of the cap inward and pull the cap open.

4. Remove the old lightbulb from the Stinger by pulling it straight out.

5. Insert a replacement Replacement Stinger lightbulb, ensuring that the contacts are properly seated in the bug zapper. Close the lightbulb cap securely. Hang the Stinger and reconnect to power source.
