Toro Workman Pto Specifications

The Toro Workman meets many needs at a golf course.

The Toro Company has been manufacturing products since 1914. Its current line of Workman utility vehicles provide a means of towing and hauling. Used in different areas like sports fields, golf courses and residential settings, the Workman HD series comes equipped with a power takeoff (PT0) shaft that extends from the Workman vehicle to the attached implement or accessory. This connection permits the transfer of mechanical power.

Power

The rear mounted PTO, mechanically driven by the transaxle, rotates at 540 revolutions per minute. That speed represents the power transferred to the attached implement.

Rear Transaxle

The Toro Workman HD series rear transaxle connects directly to the rear engine twin axle drive. The engine has six speeds going forward, including a 3-speed synchromesh, along with two in reverse. Maximum forward speed is 19.8 miles per hour. The rear transaxle is isolated from all load forces by the DeDion rear axle design which supports all the loads.

Towing Capacity

Towing capacity ranges from 2,754 to 3.002 lbs. on the Toro Workman HD series models.

Attachments

Offering several attachments, the Toro Workman HD series has a 200-gallon sprayer for use with pesticides or fertilizers. For applying fertilizers with a spreader Toro offers a Vicon spreader for dry materials, which would include sand and seeds.
