What Is Orange Oil Used For

Orange oil come from the glands of the inside of orange peelings and rind. It is made of over 90 percent limonene, which is very sweet smelling, giving orange oil the pleasant aroma everyone loves. Aside from the pleasant aroma, it has many uses in our home and gardens. Does this Spark an idea?


Health


Detoxify your body with orange oil and get rid of nasty colds and flu.


Use it as a diuretic and help your body with slow digestion, constipation and flatulence.


Enjoy aromatherapy with orange oil and use it as an anti-depressant or stress reliever.


In the Kitchen


Boil orange peels for a cheap and easy air freshener. Or, throw an orange peel in a bag of brown sugar to keep it soft.

In the winter, dry your orange peels. Orange oil is flammable and makes great kindling.
