Seal Five Gallon Plastic Buckets & Lids

Five-gallon plastic buckets are used to hold all sorts of materials. The buckets are mostly used for remodeling, food and industrial applications, including drywall joint compound, various oils and lubricants, and food products. Individuals or companies can purchase securing lids for five gallon plastic buckets if the bucket did not come equipped with one. The lids snap onto the open rim of the bucket and provide a seal against the elements and other outside contamination. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Gently place the lid on the top of the bucket.

2. Align the lid so that the raised circular groove in the lid is located over the bucket wall.

3. Press down firmly on the grooves on opposite sides of the lid until you hear it snap into place on the bucket's rim. Move along the edge of the lid, pressing down until the entire lid is secured to the bucket. Repeat the process to ensure a tight seal.

4. Screw the supplied cap tightly to the funnel on buckets with a spout.
