Use Eugenia Tree Oil
Eugenia is scientifically known as Eugenia caryophyllus. It is an evergreen tree and grows to heights of up to 30 feet. It is indigenous to the Spice Islands and the Philippines. The unopened flower buds from the tree are gathered during the fall months and dried in the sun to produce what is commonly known as cloves. Clove oil is extracted from the leaves, stems and buds of the tree for medicinal purposes. Not only are cloves frequently used in cooking, clove oil can be used to treat various ailments.
Instructions
1. Soothe a toothache by applying clove oil as needed. Look for clove essential oil in your local health food store. Dip a cotton swab into the vial of clove oil and saturate. Apply directly to the affected tooth.
2. To treat a cracked tooth until you can get to a dentist, apply a paste with clove oil. Mix together 1/4 tsp. aloe vera gel with enough baking soda to form a thick paste. Add a drop or two of clove oil and soak a cotton ball in the mixture. Wedge the paste-covered cotton into the hole or crack in the tooth. Leave it there until you can get to a dentist's office.
3. Treat bad breath with cloves. Chew a couple of whole clove seeds in your mouth. The clove oil will be released and alleviate your bad breath. Do not ingest clove oil as it can irritate the stomach.
4. Treat athlete's foot with clove oil. Mix 30 drops of clove oil with 1 oz. apple cider vinegar. Dab on the affected area of the feet as needed. Repeat until the irritation is gone.
5. Mix two or three drops of clove oil with 4 cups of hot water. Infuse a cotton cloth in the hot water mixture, wring out and apply to sore muscles for relaxation and relief from pain.
