Wash Laundry When You Have Herpes

The herpes virus cannot survive on clothing after it has been laundered.

Herpes is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases. Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 and Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 are the two viruses that cause herpes. Herpes simplex virus type 1 causes cold sores and is transmitted by kissing and non-sexual touching. Herpes simplex virus type 2 causes genital herpes and is spread by sexual contact. The chances of spreading the herpes virus through dirty clothing or towels is low, but not impossible, and it is always better to be safe than sorry. Does this Spark an idea?
